GPU Rent HubMonero GPU hosting

Monero GPU hosting, on our own hardware, since February 2022.

GPU Rent Hub rents dedicated bare-metal GPU servers by the week or the month and accepts Monero for every card and every term, from an RTX A5000 at $190 a month to an 8-way B200 node at $28,010, with no identity verification and no email address on the account.

01 Definition

What is Monero GPU hosting?

A GPU you can rent without anyone learning who rented it, on hardware owned by the company billing you.

Monero is the only coin on our list where sender, recipient and amount are hidden by the protocol rather than by how carefully you use it. That is worth nothing if the host wants a passport first, so we built the account around it: a username and a password hash, and nothing else.

We added XMR in February 2022, after a year as the most requested item in our tickets. We run our own monerod node in DFW-1 with a hot spare in IAD-1, because a payment processor would know things about you that we have chosen not to know. Each deposit gets a fresh subaddress.

The rest is ordinary hosting. A physical card in one of three US datacenters, root over SSH, the whole machine. The full GPU catalogue covers the parts that have nothing to do with coins.

Def. Monero GPU hosting

Monero GPU hosting is the rental of a dedicated GPU server paid for in XMR, the cryptocurrency whose ring signatures and stealth addresses conceal sender, receiver and amount on chain. At GPU Rent Hub it means a bare-metal GPU in a US datacenter, rented by the week or the month at a fixed USD price, funded by an XMR deposit to a one-time subaddress, on an account that is a username and a password and nothing else.

02 Mechanics

How do you pay for a GPU server with Monero?

Four steps. Only the chain takes real time, about twenty minutes of it.

1

Register

Pick a username and a password. Nothing else is asked. A recovery email is optional, and most XMR customers skip it.

2

Choose XMR, get a subaddress

The deposit screen issues a fresh Monero subaddress from our own node, used once and never reissued. Send any amount above $20 equivalent.

3

Ten confirmations

Your USD credit is fixed at the median spot rate of three exchanges at the first confirmation, not the tenth, so the wait cannot move your number. Spendable at ten.

4

Deploy

Card, region, term, template. Provisioning takes two to six minutes on stocked configurations, and the price leaves your balance in one line.

No deposit fee, no spread on the quoted rate, no minimum holding period. If our node falls behind the chain, as it did for two hours and twenty minutes on 6 August 2026, deposits are still credited at the rate of their real first confirmation. That incident is written up on the status page.
03 Worked example

What does a Monero deposit actually look like?

Real arithmetic with a real catalogue price. Substitute your own rate on the day.

Say you send 4.5 XMR on a day when the median of our three reference exchanges is $278.40. Your balance becomes $1,252.80 at the first confirmation and is spendable twenty minutes later. Deploy one RTX 4090 24 GB in PDX-1 at $390 a month and $862.80 stays in the account: two more renewals with $82.80 over.

Unused balance is not stranded. Ask for a withdrawal, give a Monero address, and we send it back minus the network fee and nothing else, within 24 hours. No fee, no minimum, no questions about what the money is for.

Why is the balance in dollars and not in XMR?

Because a GPU costs the same to run whether or not Monero moved this week. Our power contracts, cage leases and hardware are priced in dollars, so the rental is too.

Hold the deposit as XMR and either you carry the exchange risk, with a term that cost 1.4 XMR in March costing 2.1 XMR in June for the same card, or we carry it and price it quietly into the rent. Fixing the value at first confirmation ends the question.

The balance then behaves like credit, not a position. Renewals are drawn from it 24 hours before term end. Nothing renews on an empty balance: the instance stops and you get 72 hours to top up before the slot is released. Full rules in the deposits documentation.

We do not hold customer funds as a speculative position. Deposits are converted at credit time and the balance is a plain USD ledger entry against your username.

How much does it cost to rent a GPU with Monero?

Exactly what it costs in any other coin. Weekly is seven days up front; monthly renews from balance.

Per GPU-hour is the monthly price divided by 720, for comparison against hourly clouds. Weekly divided by 168 is a little higher. Prepaid 3 and 6 month terms take 5% and 10% off, multi-GPU nodes take 5% to 10% more off, and the two stack. If you need a card for six hours, use an hourly provider. See monthly versus hourly GPU rental and the full GPU rental pricing.

How does XMR compare with the other coins you accept?

One rule for all seven: rate fixed at first confirmation, spendable at the confirmation count below. Monero is the slow one and the only private one.

07 The forum question

Which hosts take XMR for GPUs?

It gets asked on LowEndTalk and its equivalents every few months, usually with disappointing answers. Here is ours, stated plainly.

Most GPU clouds take cards and invoices, and a few take Bitcoin through a processor that runs identity checks on you. Monero is rarer, because no processor will touch it and taking it yourself means running a node. GPU Rent Hub accepts XMR directly for every card, every region and every term, and has since February 2022. No approval step, no crypto tier with worse hardware.

Comparing hosts, ask four things: direct or through a processor, email or document required, rate fixed at first confirmation or at credit, and whether unused balance can leave again. Ours: direct, neither, first confirmation, yes within 24 hours.

Private end to end

The chain hides the payment and the account holds nothing to identify you: a username, a password hash, a balance, instance metadata. No email to correlate, no card BIN, no name on an invoice. More on no-KYC GPU hosting.

Tor onion service

The dashboard and API run as an onion service, the address PGP-signed under Settings and on the contact page. Deposits and deployments work identically over Tor, which we do not flag, rate-limit or log differently.

No processor in the loop

Our own node, our own subaddress generation, our own reconciliation. No third party can pause your deposit, ask you for a selfie, or decide later that your account needs review.

08 Limits

What does paying in Monero not change?

Better written down than discovered after a deposit. Privacy in payment is not immunity from everything else.

The acceptable-use rules still apply

We do not inspect workloads, scan disks or read traffic. We act on what leaves the machine: outbound attack traffic, spam, scanning, and the short list in the terms. The coin is not a factor either way.

We are a US company

GPU Rent Hub Compute LLC is registered in Wyoming and operates from Dallas. DFW-1, IAD-1 and PDX-1 are in the United States, and we answer valid US legal process. What we can produce is limited to what we hold: a username, a balance, instance timestamps. The transparency report runs each January.

Payments are final

No chargebacks in either direction. Send to the address shown, on Monero mainnet, from a wallet you control. We cannot reverse a transaction, recover coins sent to a stale subaddress, or restore an account that lost its password.

09 FAQ

Monero GPU hosting questions

Which GPU hosts accept Monero?
Very few accept it directly, because payment processors will not handle XMR and taking it yourself means running a node. GPU Rent Hub does: Monero is accepted for every GPU, every region and every term, and has been since February 2022. No approval step, no separate pricing, no restricted hardware tier.
Can I rent an H100 with XMR?
Yes. An H100 SXM 80 GB is $1,690 a month or $475 a week paid in Monero, which is $2.35 per GPU-hour on a monthly term. H200, B200, MI300X, A100, L40S and the consumer cards are available the same way, in DFW-1, IAD-1 or PDX-1, as single cards or 8-way NVLink nodes.
How long does a Monero deposit take to credit?
About twenty minutes. We credit at 10 confirmations on Monero mainnet. The USD value is fixed earlier than that, at the first confirmation, using the median spot rate of three exchanges, so the wait cannot move your number in either direction. Bitcoin credits at 1 confirmation, Solana at 32, Litecoin at 6.
Do you charge a fee or a spread on Monero deposits?
No. There is no deposit fee, no processing fee and no spread added to the quoted rate. The amount credited is what the median of three exchanges said your XMR was worth at first confirmation. The minimum deposit is $20 equivalent. Withdrawals of unused balance cost only the Monero network fee.
Do I need an email address or ID to pay in Monero?
Neither. An account is a username and a password. No email field to fill, no phone number, no document upload, no name on the invoice. A recovery email is optional and most XMR customers skip it. Skip it and lose the password, and the account cannot be recovered or refunded.
Can I withdraw my unused balance back to Monero?
Yes. Request a withdrawal in the dashboard, give a Monero address, and we send the remaining balance in the coin you deposited, minus the network fee, within 24 hours. No withdrawal fee, no minimum, no holding period. Balances never expire, so leaving credit for a future term is fine too.
Is there a Tor onion service for the dashboard?
Yes. The dashboard and the v2 API run as an onion service, with the address published under Settings after login and on our PGP-signed contact page. Deposits, deployments, console access and withdrawals all work over Tor. We do not flag it, rate-limit it, or log it differently.
